Lens Limitations - _TNY_3701
This little beauty is most likely a female silver-studded blue (Plebejus argus) but snice the two species are very similar,neither I nor my tame Lepidopterologist can completely elliminate it being an idas blue (P. idas) instead. But he was still leaning towards P. argus so I'm going with that.
While I would have loved to capture the entirety of her beautiful wings plus the beautifully magenta thistle, this was taken using the Canon MP-E65mm lens and since its minimum magnification is 1:1, it can't focus any further away than this. Hopefully you still think my framing works here.
