Striped Killer - _TNY_4988
A somewhat juvenile raft spider (Dolomedes fimbriatus) climbing around on a wild rapsberry plant near the old mill ruin at Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park on a nice photo day in late August.
Right next to this one, on another leaf, I found a larger spider which I think was its cousin, the fen raft spider (D. plantarius), but the jury is still out on that one - it could have been an oddly coloured D. fimbriatus as well.
