Hanging Around, Pt. 3 - _TNY_7229

The blue hawker (Aeshna cyanea), also known as the southern hawker is the most common dragonfly in the Aeshna genus in Sweden. This one decided to take a short break in the otherwise neverending flying which enabled me to get a couple of shots.

This is from a visit to Åva-Stensjödal in the Tyresta National Park together with my son. We actually spotted this one just minutes before another one decided to play earring on his ear (found here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/50203486953/)

Part 2 is quite similar to Part 3, but on that one I edited out the sun glare in the eyes hoping that it would look better. Looking at it now, I think this one actually came out better - what do you think www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51325365145/
