Raspberry Guardian - _TNY_9672S2
A common darter (Sympetrum striolatum), perched on a metal pole standing among the raspberry plants at my mom's sumer house in Värmdö, Sweden.
Typically, the MP-E65mm lens isn't the ideal choice to shoot larger insects like dragonflies, but this one really enjoyed his perched and stayed put at which point the lens choice became excellent as it is *really* sharp.
I'm really pleased with how this shot came out. It is actually two shots combined - one with the eyes in focus and one with the mouth/snout using Zerene Stacker.
