Red ID #1 - _TNY_0816

There are several species of darter dragonflies in Sweden which all have red males.

A good way to distinguish (some of) them is to look at the legs. This one from a trip to the Svartkällsskogens naturreservat has quite a lot of red on them which tells us it must be a male vagrant darter (Sympetrum vulgatum), also known as the moustached darter because of the black markings on the face.
