Taking Shelter, pt. 2 - _TNY_1022

Imagine you're working outside when rain starts falling - only the rain drops are the size of your head.

 

That's very much a reality when you're a small insect like this Bombus sporadicus bumblebee which has taken refuge on the underside of a spiked speedwell (Veronica spicata).
