Unlike dragonflies, who rest with their wings straight out to the sides, their cousins the damselfies prefer to keep them folded straight back over their abdomen.
But nature wouldn't be nature if there weren't exceptions so here's a female common spreadwing (Lestes sponsa) shot at Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park - one of the damsel species that don't fold them like the others - hence the name.
