Super Blue - _TNY_5100

Here is a female common spreadwing (Lestes sponsa), also known as the emerald damselfly, on a leaf at Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park, just south of Stockholm, Sweden.

 

She looks a bit old and worn - but those eyes still have the most amazing blue hue. I bet the guys fall like trees for her.
