Emerald Eyed Beauty - _TNY_9415
This extremely handsome fellow is a male woodland jumping spider (Evarcha falcata male).
We were finishing up dinner in the greenhouse when my wife looked at the pot containing a pelargonium on the table and casually said
"Oh, so you decided to wake up now."
The "you" turned out to be this guy so I obviously ran for the camera and started snapping away.
He was a very cooperative model and walked along the edge of the pot, providing me with extremely nice ground clearance as well as the ability to shot him more from the front or the back.
After our little session, I made sure to move him to the tomato plants in the greenhouse where there were more potential food for him than on the table.
