Golden Hardhack - _TNY_8313

Some plants have a cool-sounding name and some don't. And then there are those with multiple cool names.

This very yellow flower is a shrubby cinquefoil (Dasiphora fructosa) - but it is also known as golden hardhack, bush cinquefoil, shrubby five-finger, widdy and kuril tea.

The little visitor here is some sort of running crab spider (Philodromus sp.) - but there are several very similar species so we can't get a closer ID.
