Emerald Photo Bomber - _TNY_5374

Here's a female common spreadwing (Lestes sponsa female), also known as the emerald damselfly, who decided to photo bomb me trying to shoot some beautiful demoiselles in Åva-Stensjödal in southeastern Tyresta National Park.

Fortunately, I had no problem shooting her instead as this is a rather pretty species as well.

I'm really pleased with the detail on the eye here - the individual facets are clearly distinguishable, especially if you zoom in.
