Here's a re-edit of an older shot of a forest bug (Pentatoma rufipes), also known as the red-legged shield bug.
The Swedish magazine "Yrfän" from the Swedish Entomologial Society wanted a photo of one of these from straight above for an upcoming article.
They liked this one, but in the original shot, part of the left antennae and also of the right hind leg were outside the frame.
I figured they could use a little extra around the edges to have more to wok with in the layout so I pulled it up in Photoshop and made new ones from the existing parts in the shot. The shot that I started with can be found here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/47682551712/
