A Prickly Perch - _TNY_5103S3
So yet another one of those beautifully red male ruddy darter (Sympetrum sanguineum) from Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park.
To make it at least a little different, this one decided to make a perch among the needles in a spruce which made for a new view.
This is three shots combined into one for a little added depth of field and surprisingly, the spruce needles wasn't much of an issue in retouching after the stack.
