Beautiful with Age - _TNY_7892

This silver-washed fritillary (Arynnis paphia) is pretty old and worn, but I honestly can't say I think it is any less beautiful than a young one.

 

This one has rolled out that long proboscis to enjoy the flowers of a false spiraea (Sorbaria sorbifolia) in Härnösand, Sweden.
