The Summer is On - _TNY_2171
I'm beginning my summer vacation now and starting off with a couple of weeks at my mother-in-law's place just outside Härnösand, Sweden.
Just outside her greenhouse, there is a castor oil plant (Ricinus communis) and on one of those large leaves i found this summer orbweaver (Metellina mengei) which looked kind of cool.
No idea why the colour of the leaf came out this pale and weird though.
