Clean Background - _TNY_9617

The resulting near-white background which comes with photographing bugs sitting on the sill outside the windows of our house could be considered boring I suppose. But it also means there are no distractions to take away from the complexities and detail of their bodies which can work out nicely.

 

Here is a robber fly with nice dark red compound eyes, I'm thinking one of the Neoitamus species, with a moustache of near Sam Elliott proportions.
