Modern Couple - _TNY_7257

Visiting Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park, I spotted these two brimstone butterflies (Gonepteryx rhamni) sharing a thistle.

 

Brimstones are easy to tell which sex they are as the guys are bright yellow like these two while the girls have a more greenish white colour.

 

Also note how colour-coordinate they are as they've matched the colour of the flower to their purple shoulders.
