Vanilla Scented Orchid - _TNY_6719
While visiting the old limestone quarry at Stora Vika, I found this dark red Helleborine (Epipactis atrorubens) which only grows in calcerous enviroments and thus is quite rare in Sweden but obviously at home in the limestone here.
I did not know at the time so I didn't try it myself, but these have a distinct scent of vanilla. I'll make sure to verify this the next time I go there.
