Sitting on Itself, Pt. 2 - _TNY_9499

This quite surprised-looking butterfly is a meadow brown (Maniola jurtina) and it is actually sitting on itself.

 

Now what do I mean by that? Well, the white flower is an ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare), right?

 

And the German name for the butterfly is Große Ochsenauge where "Ochsenauge" in fact means, you guessed it: ox-eye!
