A female nursery web spider (Pisaura mirabilis) carrying her spherical egg sac around before it's time to create a nursery web for them.
Here she's sitting on the hand of my son (then aged nine) and when seeing the photos afterwards he remarked quite disappointed that I didn't do the size of it justice.
