High Level of Detail - _TNY_9491

I spent a little while looking for butterflies in the garden at my mom's summer house and actually made several shots of Satyrinae species of which I am very pleased with within just a couple of minutes.

A nice ringlet, a meadow brown and then this one, a pearly heath (Coenonympha arcania) became my models.

"Pearly heath" has a nice ring to it, and the Swedish "pärlgräsfjäril" is based around the same idea, but how about the German name?

"Weißbindiges Wiesenvögelchen" they call it which I find just amazing. My German is a bit rusty to say the least, but I'm thinking it should translate into something along the lines of white-banded grass birdlet (as in a diminutive form of bird). :D

Either way, I really like the level of detail I managed to capture on the chest of this one. Do zoom in for a look, I sincerely think it is worth it.
