Proper Camouflage Colours, pt. 2 - _TNY_8002S6

The common fox-spider (Alopecosa pulverulenta) is a not particularily rare member of the wolf spider family. Quite pretty though.

 

This one relied on staying completely still and trusting the camouflage - something that I took advantage of and managed six shots from this exact angle and then focus stacked them into this shot using Zerene Stacker.

Also, just wanted to mention that I think the German name for this species is really cool: "Dunkle Pantherspinne" (literally "dark panther spider").
