A Good Place to Work - _TNY_0967

I shot this lying on my belly next to this large patch of thyme which was literally buzzing with bees and bumblebees - like this buff-tailed bumblebee (Bombus terrestris).

 

Not only were the subjects abundant and more walking from flower to flower than flying, but also there was this gorgeous purple colour and a fantastic smell of thyme all over.
