Magic Stick - _TNY_0875

I'm startting to believe this intensly coloured flying stick and it's brethren are magical. I can follow them with my eyes while they're flying very controlled and smoothly through the high grass and then they suddenly disappear, something that I would think would be near impossible when you're wearing a coat of neon blue.

 

This one is a male common bluet (Enallagma cyathigerum), also known as the northern bluet or common blue damselfly.
