The Ant Slayer, Pt. 3 - _TNY_2327

I found this female zebra spider (Salticus scenicus) while working on the roof and it had just caught a flying ant.

 

She was running around and wasn't interested at all in letting my camera close until I put my other hand cupped behind her which made her back up against it and appeared to feel totally safe "hiding" like that.
