Blued Edges - _TNY_9894

This final instar nymph of the red-legged shieldbug (Pentatoma rufipes) might appear to be named by Ray Charles, but when it reaches adulthood it will have bright red legs.

 

I found it outside the entrance at work early this morning and I must say the shifting colour around the edge looks really cool to me.
