Metallic Paint Job - _TNY_9937

This longhorn beetle is a Gaurotes virginea and in its larvae stage it lives beneath the bark of pines and spruces.

 

Also note the two tiny yellow little somethings to the lower right of the beetle. I didn't see them until I got home and saw the image on the computer monitor.
