A small nymph of the spur-throated grasshopper (Xenocatantops humilis) measuring in at about 10 mm (3/8"). If you're watching this on a computer, you might want to press "L" and then "Z" on your keyboard to zoom in and see the details on the eye.
This is two exposures "manually focus stacked" by blending them together in Photoshop. There was a slight change in angle between the shots which made the dedicated stacking software go nuts so I had to go manual instead.
