Black Obelisk - But Not Quite - _TNY_8920
A young female Black Darter (Sympetrum danae) in the obelisk posture - but since it's only the male who is black the name is a bit ill-fitting.
To make matters worse, the obelisk pose isn't to soak up sun but rather because my son was trying to make her step off his finger by pushing her.
Another shoty of the same darter and fingers here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/28101684400
