Tempus - TNY_7685
Close-up on a Omega Grand Prix 1900 made in 1910 or so.
I believe this was originally bought by my great-grandfather who passed it on to his son and all the way on down to me.
I initially tried to stack multiple shots of this one but it proved pretty impossible due to the fact that the glass is so scratched that it requires separate focus from the hands and the numbers and they overlap. Perhaps it could be made in two separate exposures if I disassemble the watch, but I think I'll refrain from that.
On the face of the watch reads "Em. Söderlund UPSALA JMP" which refers to watchmaker Em. Söderlund Ur & Optik AB. The shop had as far as I can tell the address "Kungsängsgatan 11" in Uppsala.
A photo of the insides of the watch can be found here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/13943397644
