Palladian Perfection

www.chgt.org.uk/index.asp?PageID=50

I live equidistant between two parks. One is rich, one is poor! Whilst Gunnersbury House rots and decays (see previous two photos), Chiswick House and gardens was just restored to the tune of £12 million, but then it is one of England's earliest and finest examples of neo-Palladian architecture.

It's pretty perfect, really. It's given me such joy over the years.
