The staircase is apparently an emergency exit so don't start getting ideas about moving freely up and down it. No freedom!

In downtown Atlanta, Georgia, on January 23rd, 2017, outside the Atlanta Apparel Mart (AmericasMart Building 3), erected 1979, designed by John Portman & Associates, at the southeast corner of Baker Street Northwest and Williams Street Northwest.

 

Yonder in glass is the American Cancer Society Center, formerly the Inforum, erected 1989, also designed by John Portman & Associates.
