VIA 6450 - Take 2!
Sometimes, you've got to start over (at least a little bit). I painted this HO scale F40 up for a customer, and when he picked it up he wasn't entirely happy with the shade of yellow I had used. My goal is always to leave my customers happy, so I took it back to the workbench, disassembled, and masked around the yellow portion. I then mixed up a new custom yellow (matched to Rapido's recent F40 release), and re-painted over that area. I then re-decalled, re-finished it, and delivered a much better looking model.
Model is by Kato. Decals are Highball for the stripe, VIA logos, small cab flag and front Canada logo, and Rapido for the cab numbers and numberboards (from the decal sheet included with their F40s) and the large flag and side Canada wordmark (from their LRC decal set). The Highball large flag and wordmark are completely inaccurate.
