It is located at the "Kesselbrink" - a central location in Bielefeld. In 1961 the (at that time) largest parking garage in Germany was built there. Es wurde 1974 für die damalige Deutsche Bundespost als Fernmeldeamt fertig gestellt. Es befindet sich am Kesselbrink - einem zentralen Platz in Bielefeld, auf bzw. unter dem 1961 die damals größte Tiefgarage Deutschlands gebaut worden ist.
