This is the performance of a CATT (Card Agglutination Test for Trypanosomiasis) by Dr Roukwe Bamo, resident in cohort 10 of the Cameroon Field Epidemiology Training Program, in a Pygmy community in the Bipindi forest during a medical survey for Human African Trypanosomiasis, in the active focus of Bipindi, Lolodorf Health District, Cameroon, January 2024. This medical survey is carried out every year in active focus of Human African Trypanosomiasis, and is organized by Cameroon's National Human African Trypanosomiasis Control Program with the aim of raising awareness, detecting cases early and treating them. This action contributes to the goal of eliminating Human African Trypanosomiasis in Cameroon by 2030.
