Mr. Yaseen Anwer is an Indian multilingual poet who writes in English, Hindi and Urdu. He is the founder of "Kaafiya - The Poetry Festival" and Poets Corner Group . Mr. Anwer's work has appeared in more than 80 national and international magazines and journals. He has been awarded the title of Young Poet in 2012 by the Indian Poetry Society. His poems have been translated into Chinese, Portugese, Hindi, etc.
Mr. Anwer started reading and writing poetry at the early age of 14 getting inspired by poems of Rabindranath Tagore and Mirza Ghalib. He strongly feels emotion holds power beyond human understanding and he says emotion appears best when arranged in the form of poetry.
