Lightning compilation
This is a compilation of 47 separate lightning shots at Howard Springs NT. All taken at the same place on the one night. Some have a slightly different point of view. I then threw them into ViewNX movie maker.
Dont forget this not really how it happened, well it did happen but over a period of about 1 hour.
I just thought I'd add a bit of drama to the shots. You can clearly see updraught in the changing cloud formations.
These were taken with a Nikon D90 and Tamron 10-24mm lens. Some shots are just lightning lit clouds.
The strangest thing has happened after Flickr has processed the file. The title is at the end now and the start frame should be at the end. The lighter frames should be at the start as well.
Oh well doesn't matter you get the picture pardo the pun. . In one shot I took a helicopter flew past. I waited until he was in the frame then opened the shutter but no lightning occured at that particular time.
I did get a shot once of a chopper with cloud to cloud lightning behind. Its in my lightning set.
The previous clip is the same set up, same place and time, but with an Infrared camera.
I cant seem to be able to insert clip in comment but here is the link (previous upload)
