1- For an subject to move it must determine which obstacles are

relevant to its path and determine which way to steer. Outlines and

silhouette study enables this sense of direction here in picture.

 

2 - A shadow can be a silhouette as well as a shadow at the same

time. This is the basic simplicity and advantage w.r.t some times

filling the picture with unwanted details of normal picture.

 

3 - Like a raga in music is based on certain moods/times of days,

similarly silhouettes basic function with human outlines is to show

emotions & intentional focus which are hidden in the pixels of a

detailed photograph. This is just my first attempt to study silhouette

w.r.t human outlines and the potential meaning it may convey.
