Random tangling whilst on the phone :) showing my new pattern called 'Maddie'.
Please let me know if you've seen it before - I haven't, but you never know, so many out there :)
How to 'Maddie'
I found this week's dare quite a challenge as we could only choose tangles beginning with the letters 'P' 'I' and 'E', with a bit of a twist, one of the tangles were to be ones we haven't used before. Not as easy as it seems.
I think this one has way too much going on.
Thanks for looking, comments always welcome! :))
Tangles used: Pea-nuckle, In a Pod, Echo (one I've not used)
Sponged distressed ink on vanilla cardstock, then drew some patterns with 'Crystal Effects'. When dry filled with tangles.
Thanks for looking :)
This is my second entry in Erin's Monodala. This one uses the pattern 'IXORUS'. I have taken progress photos of the Zendala if you wish to view. This took me a while to do, was very intricate as there is very little space in some of the sections of the template.... oh well! once you start you just can't stop :) Enjoy and thanks for looking. www.thebrightowl.com
You can download this free template from my blog the RainbowElephant.com starting 6 November 2011.
A new mandala template the 1st Sunday of each month.
I used my "Fish Net Stocking" doodle design around the paisley and the edges of this ATC.
You can download the pattern worksheet and see more examples on my blog.
I had already drawn the triple hare so traced it on, then coloured in and doodled all over it. unplanned and went with the flow.
It was drawn with Derwent ColourSoft pencils and Zig Chalk writers.
Done with a Helix 0.1mm pen, great for small detail work ... I reposted this because when I looked at it after I posted it , it was too small to really even see it ... Stay warm everyone , I'm still trying to!
Black permanent ink - then tangled in red gel pen - inspired by Madeleine de Kemp (MakeArtBeHappy)
I see several things here, and it was always going to be in red and black and to my surprise, smack bang in the middle is an Asian man wearing a cap, and where I added my signature, now looks like a hand :) I only saw them after I posted - I love it when that happens :)
thank you for looking, comments most welcome :)
My PC is working now, so taking advantage of uploading some things I've been working on over the past couple of weeks - thanks for looking :)
I coloured some tiles using Rose and Marigold stamping ink and a spritzer. I didn't have anything in mind as to what I would do with it. I started off with the tangle 'Coil' thinking then I would do a floral theme. Then I surrounded it with my pattern 'Gella', then it started to look like some kind of animal. I added 'Wavy Border' then one of my favourites 'Nzeppel'. On the left hand side, it is more uniform and closer and on the right I went for a more spacious look. Added some Fescu, and whalla!! there you have it. Thanks for looking :))
Weekly Diva Challenge 'Brayd'. I printed off my first entry and have now added some tangles - thanks for looking.
