Here's my attempt at this week's Dare. When I saw the template, I wasn't too sure about the circular band around it and also the triangles...but nevertheless a very interesting template. Not sure if I've done this pretty template justice...I'm quite happy with the result as I think I managed to blend in the circular band and triangles, so to have a flow in this tile.

The theme this week was either something with the ocean or Mexico. As you can see from this picture, I chose Mexico. I got my inspiration from a pattern on a serape.

I loved this week's Zendala Dare. The pattern has so many possibilities. Now that I've finished mine, I can't wait to see what others have done.

I have mixed feelings aboutt his one - there is stuff I like and stuff I'm not happy with, but that's the nature of the beast, right?
