This template was fun to do with a Halloween theme. Still considering adding some color. Thanks, Erin, for another great template. Thanks for viewing. I welcome and appreciate your comments.

Zendala Dare #73

I have learned to paint so many faces from Mindy Lacefield of Tim's Sally that I decided to incorporate a face with my zendala. I loved the results . . . just makes me smile!

My first attempt at a Zendala.

Zentangle, zendoodle, zendala, Staedtler Pigment Liner pens, pencil shading.

tangle patterns: flapper, fiore, & eke

I tangled this Dachshund for my friend Krista who lost her beloved Dachshund Gunnar earlier this year. Two of our friends found this statue for me and asked me to tangle it. I learned so very much!

After 1 week without power and then vacation I'm somewhat back to normal!

When I saw this Zendala, I saw the flow of the ribbons. I wanted to use colours this time to have a slightly more delicate design. So I thought stringy patterns and curves would give the softer look instead of it looking symmetrical or structured. Well, it took me awhile to figure out how to have the curves flow naturally in different tangles. Here it is..... I do prefer the close-up view, which I've also uploaded here.

for the Zendala 8 Dare - I used the L-laced, O-Oke, V-versa, E-eke. I didn't know how I was going to like the finished product when I started with the Eke, but I'm happy with the result.

Zendala Dare #57

I used the large template on this challenge. The center tangles came to me quickly, but I agonized over the outer portion. I finally went with my fallback tangle, Paradox, and I was pleased with how it turned out.

Here is the larger one. I realy wish I could find my photo software :(
