I love to do sectioned zendala's and different tangles in each.
Staedtler and micron pens, Prisma colored pencils.
I made this card for a friends birthday, that we celebrated this week. I used coloured pencils, sharpies and my mircon pens, and once done I cut out the circles and stuck them on to the card to create a little 3d effect, and she loved it.

zentangle, zendala, micron pens, copic multiliner, Zig Millennium pen, pencil shading.
Our challenge this week was to use the zendala from thebrightowl.com; and use only tangles which names start with the letters L, O, V, E. I used Links, Onamato, Vache, and Efyls.
Accomplished using my Circular Sunday template for March 2012.
You can download the pdf version of this template from my blog at:
Enjoy!

First, the weekly dare can be found at: thebrightowl.blogspot.com/
The Dare was to fill the template using tangles that start with the letters in the word "love". I used Lace Curtain, Onamato, Vache, and Echoism.
I gotta tell you the truth here ... I do NOT like this piece. I don't like the template and I didn't like the dare (sorry, Erin!). This one just wouldn't flow for me at all. It felt disjointed and lacked harmony from the start. Argggggg
Can't even bring myself to shade it! I just want to move on to another piece and put this one behind me. I'm only posting it because I'm doing all of the Dares from the start.
Again .... ARRRRGGGGGHHHH
On this week's Zendala Dare, from Erin at The Bright Owl, I used Micron .01 pen on white card stock (8.5" x 8.5"). It's colored with fine line permanent markers and shaded with graphite pencil. A new tangle, created by Cheryl at Artful Creations, called "Boho," is used on outer rim. Thanks so much for stopping by. I do hope you have time to leave a comment.
I used a wine glass for a template and drew this one without an strings. Sarted in the center with Mooka in a circle, the ennies leaves and fiscu around the edge, some pokeleaf between the mookas and an aura. This one was pretty easy. Very minimal shading.
Not a Zentangle but a Zendala. I don't normally use pencil, but I did want this to be fairly uniform - I used the letters to spell 'I LOVE U'.
It was an interesting concept as I did indeed find the process very 'Zen'
