HEART ZENDALA

with RUMPUS

-my first Zendala-

zentangle, zendala

adding color to a zentangle type design in a circle... the marriage = zendala :-)

Apple Peeler/Corer Zendala

a little Dalek doodling

I used a apple corer/slicer as a template for these zendalas

zentangle, zendala, micron pens, pencil shading.

Marigold Stamping Ink - then tangled in black - inspired by Madeleine de Kemp (MakeArtBeHappy)

thank you for looking, comments most welcome :)

This is the same zendala, only colored with Derwent colored pencils. I didn't activate with water like I had planned, because on a trial piece with this ink, (Staedtler .01 pigment ink pen) the water made the ink run.

Another stitched zendala on paper, here I have used beads in it.

Zentangle, zendala. A loose open design.

with and without colour

In this challenge we were to usse only Crescent moon and tangleations of it. I used a CD to make my circle and then cut it up into a "pie". Hmmm.... moon pie.I got lots of practice on auras which challenge me. I'm not sure if this is actually a zendala because the strings don't repeat. I'll have to look it up to see the definition of "zendala".

Not really my style though, not sure I like it..

This is a new tangle created by Rho Densmore, CZT, in tribute to her brother-in-law who passed suddently in June. The challenge this week was to use this tangle to make an art piece, (zia, zentangle or zendala) and if we wished, give Rho permission to use our piece in a set of books she will make for family members in memory of Peter. I would be honored if she chose to use this piece.

This Zendala Dare was dawn on blue card stock with Micron .01 pen and shaded with black and white graphite pencils. Thanks for viewing. Your comments are always appreciated.

My first try at the dare: not happy with this one actually.
