A simple Tripoli Zendala for my white-on-black Zentangle class. Sakura Gelly Roll, Zenstone shading.
I changed the original design of this Zendala. I used Prismacolor Pencils and Sharpie Markers to color the tangles. Check our the Bright Owl Blog ( thebrightowl.blogspot.com/ ) to see what others have done with this Zendala. Thanks for viewing. Comments are appreciated.
I forgot to post this one in time - so missed the deadline - oh well, sometimes life gets in the way :)
thanks for looking

I need to do more morphing., 23. #zentangle 2015-067, #iamthedivacztchallenge no. 208 a duotangle with pokeroot and cubine, I ended up deciding a frame was needed to finish it off, perhaps due to Day 31 of #onezentangleadaybook?, 24. #zentangle 2015-066, "One Zentangle A Day" day 31? Paizel and personal flair was the focus. I need to work on random fills more!, 25. #zentangle 2015-065, #zendaladare no. 98. It took everything in me to not b'tweed and paradox the whole thing. I'll be sharing the starting string for this in my blog on Sunday!, 28. #zentangle 2015-062, "One Zentangle A Day" day 29, the one with a feather (or two). I was advised to leave the feather on its own, but it was too unbalanced so I added a second one., 29. #zentangle 2015-061, Dee's photos of cathedral and mosque ceilings from her travels in Spain inspired the string for this tile. This was my first ever phicops and I did kind of a tangleation of pearls and yoga, then filled with some b'tweed., 30. #zentangle 2015-060, "One Zentangle A Day" day 28 featuring Sez and Eke with a titch of Tipple, Shattuck and Fasset while dealing with a significant chronic pain flare.

This one was really fun to do although it turned out kind of "busy". Went clam digging yesterday, so I loved the subject. Tangles used: Cockles & Mussels, Squid, Sanibelle, Tearce, and Nipa variation.
My very first Zendala Dare with www.brightowl.com
I have left it very spacious as you can see. Thanks for looking :))
Another Monodala --- this one uses Striping. Fun and funky stuff to try. I am trying to do an optical illusion, but I'm not there yet. For inspiration pieces go to www.op-art.co.uk/op-art-gallery/bridget-riley. You will see Nightsbridge on the top row. Who knew?
This is done on sage coloured cardstock - I used some red, white and yellow Prismacolour pencils in several sections, still maintaining the colour of the cardstock.
thanks for looking - have a lovely weekend! off to bed for me :)
This is my second entry in Erin's Monodala. This one uses the pattern 'IXORUS'. I have taken progress photos of the Zendala if you wish to view. This took me a while to do, was very intricate as there is very little space in some of the sections of the template.... oh well! once you start you just can't stop :) Enjoy and thanks for looking. www.thebrightowl.com
This Zendala was a template received from Erin at The Bright Owl for making a donation to her Cancer Walk.
It is drawn on white cardstock (8.5x8.5) with Micron .01 Pen; it's colored with Prisma pencils, fine-line pens, and shaded with graphite pencil. I used the tangles Puff, Vanity, by Laurie Rosen and Eye-WA, by Molly Hollibaugh. Thanks so much for viewing. Your comments are welcome.
My second entry for the Zendala Dare #29. It is drawn on green scrap book paper with Micron .01 & .08 Pen. The tangles are Flord, Zenplosion Folds, Angel Fish, Copada. Thanks for viewing. I look forward to your comments.

zendoodles!! I am so curious to see her work!
Anche Maria Bruna scarabocchia: che sorpres! E presto realizzerà i suoi piatti in ceramica con gli scarabocchi zen!!! Sono cuiriosa di vederli!!
Still catching up on dares I missed.

Thanks for looking.
Thanks Erin for posting another amazing Zendala. I'm wishing you the best of luck at nursing school. I know you'll be great at it. Don't worry about being late with the Zendalas. You have so much on your plate, it's amazing you get them out every week. We all, for sure, would miss doing them, but being late will not be the end of the world - lol.
My Zendala was drawn on white card stock with Micron .01 & .005 Pens and shaded with graphite and white pencils. The tangles I used are Fltter Pie, by Carole Ohi, CZT; Zin, by Linda Farmer, CZT; Via by Pam Pincha-Wagener; and some lines and circles. I colored the background with several colors of Prisma pencils and used fine line pen to fill the triangles. You can check out the other entries in this Zendala Dare at thebrightowl.blogspot.com
Thanks so much for viewing and I hope you'll leave a comment.
I didn't do any shading, I am still unsure of shading. I will make a couple of copies and test out how i it will look best :-)
Erin's suggestions this week was to use Holibaugh in the Zendala. I may have overdone it. Lol. My Zendala reminds me of tied up sausages - tee, hee, hee. The tangle inside the egg shapes is popsicle. Thanks for viewing. Your comments are welcome.
