Coming back over from Wensleydale this afternoon we saw a perfect inversion forming in the lower reaches of both Wensleydale and Swaledale - so continued straight on through Richmond to Willances Leap to try to get a shot up the valley, above the fog. By the time we arrived though, the cloud had lifted and was whisping across the dark moorland - so I decided to focus my efforts on this rather shapely tree as the light faded.
I have to start off by saying this really is straight out of camera. This is the best sunset I think I've ever seen or near as damnit. This happened on our way back to the hostel after leaving Chateau Noisy behind just over an hour beforehand. On our way to the chateau the skies were grey but still very dramatic with very dark clouds mixed with lighter threads and whisps and I hopefully said to Darren that we may get a decent sky as a backdrop for the Noisy exterior. Sadly when it came time to do the exterior there was a blanket of flat grey. It was only once we left and drove away that a heavy storm on the horizon mixed with this impressive sunset to taunt us with what would have made the Noisy exterior shot of doom!

Our trip to Costa Rica was spectacular and we will certainly return. One of the animals on my bucket list were the Sloths. After a day of hiking Manuel Antonio Park, there was only a whisp of a view. Sadly we headed back to our B&B, and guess who was waiting for us essentially in the backyard?

25044 makes a rare sight as its got its boiler in operation, steam heating the TPO's in platform six at Derby on 30th Oct 84......This shunt duty was normally a peak as the TPOs were sat in the station for an hour or so being prepared by the posties ..you could even post a letter before it was attached to the rear of the 1V97 1615 Newcastle -Bristol mail.....Obviously with the temperatures being low on a winters night like this heating was needed, but this late in their careers, Rats with operational boilers were unusual....this being the last time i ever saw one steaming. The whisps of steam leaking from the stock was always handy to stand next to on a cold night....The train is being loaded up with mail for sorting hence the barrows on the platform making me stand in a less than ideal position....but i cant help feeling i should have composed it better ...Then again i was still at school so had lots to learn..!!!
A fiery orange and red sunset in late fall in Northeastern North Dakota. I was mesmerized by the ever changing colors and whispy clouds -- notice above the trees the very unique whisps of clouds.
Taken at Sprotbrough Falls, across the other side everything seemed peacefull with the stone built houses nestled between the trees and the woods at the back, with whisps of smoke from the chimney's, on this side was the weir and noise, and everything rushing about, like two different worlds as one, it looks nice "across the other side".

The last proper human 90s Space Faction, and I only just realised that their looking for alien fossils was a clue as to the direction Lego would go in the following years. I have never quite been able to work out what their emblem represents, and wondered if the whisps behind the yellow and black arrow had a secret shape in them.
I don't count Roboforce as the sets are so ill designed, the graphic design of the elements is poor, the minifigures are a weak hodgepodge, and they had such limited release - it's obvious that they are an afterthought. I would be interested to know what the story is there...

Fell in love with this NEW hair from MINA the moment I saw it. It's soft and feminine with the thick plait reaching waist level. There is a styling hud for the hair whisps. I am wearing the full whisps, but you can also wear without.

Since I haven't paid much attention to my MH dolls recently, I decided to get them off my shelf and take some photos of them :D
Another completely unplanned shot. We were hiking in the "Mars Valley" which has a few very impressive sand dunes. I watched him climb the dune and when he started his descent I snapped this image. I didn't expect him to throw up so much sand when he launched but I like how the sand mirrors the clouds just above him.
Hit "z" twice to count the grains of sand around the subject! ;-)

I just haven't been motivated to take the camera out these days, but I felt guilty no shooting anything, so I spent the day photographing textures in my apartment. There is literally no end of different textures once you start looking. This is a fake sheep skin. Just some dodging burning and colour grading.
Got out a few days ago (finally) & was able to practice some landscape shots & play with my new toy (polarizing filter). Almost dropped it first time outta the case...yikes! *Note to self-don't overadjust while setting polarization.
The Lines in Tottington at this time of year produces some of the most gorgeous light. The rich greens of the trees, mingles with the last whisps of evening sunshine to give this almost mythical look.
