TROUBLE DOLLS™
The Story of the “Trouble Dolls”™
In the land of Guatemala the Indians tell this old story. They teach that when you have troubles, share them with your dolls. Remove one doll for each problem. Before you go to sleep, tell the doll your trouble. While you are sleeping the dolls will try to solve your troubles. Since there are only six dolls, you are allowed only six troubles a day.

DOLLS AND CONTAINER MADE IN GUATEMALA
August 5, 2008. 218/366. We dropped my aunt off at the airport for her earlier flight, and then my grandmother and I went back to Old Town to check out the Carlyle House. Lots of fun.
Then we had Thai food and she took me back to the airport. The bathrooms inside the secure section were being renovated, and the bathrooms on my plane were broken. Light to the industrial world, aren't we?
High Speed Cat.
My Burmese cat, Simmy has insane bouts of something I call 'mad cat runs'.
From what i have read I believe this is a common behaviour in house cats who have been inactive for a while. They have an instinctive need to release energy and off they go racing through the house, up and over furniture with a crazed look in their eyes.

Kaley has a good nose, but she sometimes appears to follow Gracie's lead on older scents. Gracie is happy to lend a hand.
Strumming my pain with his fingers,
Singing my life with his words,
Killing me softly with his song,
Killing me softly,
With his song telling my whole life
With his words,
Killing me softly,
With his song

I travelled to Glasgow this afternoon as I was sure I could find some photos relevant to "Something Other" in relation to architectural design!
This lovely message caught my eye and you will note that it has been "protected" by some netting I presume to stop the birds going after the fish 😉

Stay Safe and Healthy Everyone!
Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all!
Old very rusty car, also took close up of rust, and merged the two layers with the "color" option.....like the abstract effect with faint car image, some cloning on lower left corner to reduce stark whiteness, very minimal cropping....had not used the color option before - tried all options and got many varied and neat effects. Added a little vibrance and saaturation. Will post both images to Flickr without merge.
Lighting Info: SB600 overhead 3' from subject. gridded SB600 camera left onto just the hammers (sticks). Triggered by Nikon CLS.
Ghostly trail - taken at dusk - exposure info - iso 100, 10 sec. exposure at F8. using self timer and holding each pose about 2 seconds left a ghostly motion trail. Also waved hands and arms about while changing positions.
