Where's Bigfoot employs Voronoi Diagrams (cells generated from the decomposition of proximal data, in this case supplied by parsed Google Earth data) to map Bigfoot siting across the United States, presenting an emergent view of the US shaped by Bigfoot. In this version the lines of the Voronoi diagrams served as instructions for a Computer-Numerically-Controlled Router, employed to cut the lines into a woodblock used for the print.

GEHEIMNISVOLLE KUNST PLAKATIERTER WÄNDE
Zerfallen,
zerrissen und doch schön,
verregnet, vom Wind gedemütigt,
der Sonne nicht widerstanden,
von Fingern gezogen, achtlos stehen gelassen,
vorübergegangen und doch schön - Kunst lebt in uns.
Meist sind es Plakatwände oder ganz kleine Flächen,
die ich durch meine sorgfältig ausgewählten Blickwinkel
in den Mittelpunkt des Betrachter stelle.
Die Interpretation der Bilder ist von mir als
Anhaltspunkt gedacht. Mein Bestreben ist es,
Phantasie und Vorstellungskraft
zu aktivieren und den Dialog über das
Kunstwerk - Photo - zu fördern.
Die S/W Vergrößerungen sind durch besondere
Tontechnik kreativ verfremdet. Ein weiterer
spezieller Aspekt - S/W Abzüge zu tonen - ist der,
der auch schon vor 150 Jahren dieser Technik
zugrunde lag, die möglichst hohe Haltbarkeit der Bilder.
Durch das Tontrennungsverfahren wird das Silberbild
direkt in der Goldsalzlösung getont,
so oxidiert das Silber, welches in die Lösung geht.
Übrig bleibt ein Bild aus kolloidalem Gold.
Bei meinen Bildern führte ich eine Mehrfachtonung durch,
um verschiedene Farbkompositionen zu erreichen.
