My entry for Vignweek Day 3. The theme of the day was "fantastical," so I made a gnome house out of a mushroom.
Here's my entry for the third prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of fantastical (being defined as anything fantasy from before 1900). Overall, I'm super happy with how this build turned out. I love how my hummingbird design looks, and I also like what I did for the rotting log. Fun fact, this build also uses some of my favorite LEGO colors, those being dark green, dark azure, and teal, though unfortunately I couldn't get the teal to look as good as it does in person on this model. Anyway, hope you all like this build too!

An entry for Day 1 of RebelLUG's "Vignweek 2021" contest. The theme is "ancient." I decided to go with a Roman gladiator arena, set in an eastern province of the Roman Empire. Inspired by the first gladiator fight from the movie "Gladiator", as well as by W. Navarre's Ilesole Arena.
The MOC is 16x32 studs.
My final entry to Vignweek 2021. The prompt for days 6 and 7 was "mixed themes." For my build, I chose to mix Classic Castle with Star Wars - specifically, a scenario in which C-3PO and R2-D2 crashed their escape pod into the medieval world of yellow castles instead of on Tatooine.
My entry to Vignweek 2021, Day 2. The theme of the day is "historical" - specifically between 500 A.D. and 1800 A.D.
Hey everyone! Here's my entry for day two of #vignweek2021 The category was "Historical" (500AD-1800AD), so I based this build off of some courtyard pictures and artwork I found. I had a bit more time to build this one, and I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. I'm finding out rushed builds are a mix between fun/stressful, should make for a unique week. :P The next couple few days I won't have very much time, so don't expect anything too glamorous. Thanks for looking!

"It’s such a simple technique, but I’m honestly not sure I’ve ever seen anyone mix dark bluish gray and light bluish gray to produce the illusion of wet and dry stone before. I certainly haven’t seen it done as well as Hubba Blöoba accomplishes it here."

Here's my first build for RebelLUG's annual competition, Vignweek. The prompt was "ancient." Let me know what you think in the comments!
Hey everyone! Here's my first build for #vignweek2021 . Of course there are some things I would change, but for a one day build I'm fairly happy. I'll have less time for most of the other days, so we'll see how this goes. :P

Hey everyone! Here's my day three build for #vignweek2021 , the prompt was "Fantastical". I really loved being able to finally use some colors I'd been starting to add to my collection. So far this is the one I stayed up the latest this week. :P Thanks for looking!

"To help raise the morale of the troops on Endor, the Empire decided to upgraded their bunkers. The method they chose was to bring Hobbits to the planet as gardeners and design specialists."
Hey everyone! Here's my last build for #vignweek2021 . The prompt for this week was "Mixed Themes", so of course I combined Star Wars with the Lord of the Rings.
Thanks for looking!

Here's my entry for the first prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of ancient. I chose to do Ancient Rome and showcased some gladiators in an arena. Hoping to actually build for each prompt this year unlike last year, so keep an eye out for my next builds for it!
Hey everyone! My build for day four of #vignweek2021 , the prompt was "Modern". I didn't have a lot of time for this one, and I'll have a lot less time for my build tomorrow. :I Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

This my only entry for the RebelLug 2021 vignweek. The prompt was mixed themes, so i decided to mix lotr and Stranger Things. I built Frodo's encounter with the ringwraiths on Weathertop. To mix in the Stranger Things aspect i had Frodo disappear into the Upside Down when putting on the ring.
Hope you like it!
Here's my entry for the fifth prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of futuristic. I knew I wanted to do something that involved drones/mechs, and I've always liked the idea of futuristic street racing as a concept to build, so I chose to combine them here. On top shows the race itself as well as a suite with spectators, and below is where racers get recharged between races. I'm really happy with how the racers turned out, hope you guys like this too!

Here's my entry for the second prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of historical (being defined as roughly 500 AD to 1800). I wanted to try and do something more out of the box than just medieval or pirates, as I figured that those themes would be done a lot here. So, I went with something from early US history, and chose to depict Benjamin Franklin and his famous kite experiment that helped us understand the connection between lightning and electricity. I'm really happy with how this build turned out, I'm very pleased with how the cloud and lightning bolt turned out, especially after my first attempt at the lightning bolt was pretty garbage. I do wish I could've figured out a better way to hide or reduce the trans-clear bricks but unfortunately I needed the support for the cloud and lightning bolt. Anyway, hope y'all like it and check back for more builds soon!

In the not-so-distant future, Elon Musk recruits the help of the world-renowned Mars Mission team to rid the Red Planet of pesky Martians before he starts his new colony.
This is basically my take on one of my old favorite kits as a kid, 7695: MX-11 Astro Fighter. I've been digging through a lot of old minifigures lately, and Mars Mission has definitely been on my mind! Today's #vignweek2021 prompt provided a great excuse to return to one of my favorite LEGO themes.
My entry to day 5 of Vignweek 2021. The theme of the day was "future," but apparently that includes Star Wars, so I made a Clone Wars MOC.
I'm not really happy with how this one turned out. I was lacking both time and inspiration.
After the X-treme Daredevils defeated the Backyard Blasters in the World Races, they moved on to bigger goals, sending team members up into space to compete in the asteroid belt racing scene, which was a lucrative purist but of ... questionable legality... With many high-profile criminals, such as Squidman, also dabbling in these races, there were often run ins with the Space Police.

Here's my entry for the sixth prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of mixed themes. I chose to mix Space Police III and World Racers. Unfortunately I was super busy over the weekend and didn't have much time to build for this prompt, so I had to rush the asteroid and wasn't able to include multiple, but I am actually really liking the concept and the speeders I made.

It's the second day of the Vignweek and the theme is "Historical". My entry depicts Isaac Newton's workshop and his multiple interests.

Here's my entry for the fourth prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of modern era (being defined as anything after 1800). I wanted to stay away from what I thought would be more common topics like western or WWII (though apparently I thought wrong as more "city" type of builds are what's been most common), and so I ended up doing this 1950s diner inspired by this one. This was actually pretty fun to build, such a different type of architecture from what I normally build. Maybe eventually I'll come back to this idea and make a full build!
You can see some close-ups here.
For the third day of the Vignweek the theme is "Fantastical" - that is, to build something from fantasy or steampunk. I went for Death on motorcycle from Terry Pratchett's Discworld novel "Soul Music". My depiction is heavily inspired by Paul Kidby's cover art for the book.
On the 5th day of Vignweek, for the "Futuristic" theme I've build street riots in dystopian future. That's definitely futuristic and not happening today, right? ...right?
It's the second day of the Vignweek and the theme is "Historical". My entry depicts Isaac Newton's workshop and his multiple interests.
Once the great dragon Diablo attacked the castle. The brave knight followed the footprints Diablo’s lair. He found an egg, but then! Diablo emerged from the cave and breathed fire at the knight. Luckily the knight had his shield and was able to defeat the dragon.
