My son liked the first LEGO Optimus Prime he wanted another one but as he put it "more simple, no wings and a big sword to chop Megatron".

So here is version 2's end result with a full articulating right arm with sword and shield.

Took with color filter so it gets a better appearance all the blocks match more fluidly. just a bit of COD

I decided to try and use the concepts from the original version of the photo to get a good image, minus the grunge texture. It worked surprisingly well.

Another paper from Japan I wanted to test at this great model. I love this black with the golden pieces. There where much more of them but unfortunately they peel off very easy. Anyway the paper is very good even to fold complex models. Next project is to fold a revised version of my phoenix!

Tactical Kukri ... I know I know lol Its not really a kukri pattern. :-) But Im following the idea of a forward weighted blade (Or as im thinking of it, a reverse drop point ? ) for chopping.

The handle could be weighted at the pommel to change the balance. I like finger ring grips (can you tell ;-) ) And the additional finger scallops allow for a solid indexing/change of grip position when using for trimming shaving chopping slashing etc
