Used Serif DrawPlusX2 to produce this image for the Serif User Group competition in March 2008 entitled 'Spring'. I set myself the 'limitation' of only using the 'Quick Shapes' included in the program; they are the basis for all work which relies solely on vectors and includes no 'Special Effects' like 'drop shadows' or 'bevel and emboss'.

I decided to challenge myself and make a Vector Portrait Illustration of my son Bryce. I have done this once before with a self portrait which is here on on my Behance Portfolio page. I wanted to make his look more realistic and less cartoonish. I think this took me about 12-15 hours from beginning to end. I used Adobe Illustrator CC 2015. I did not use a tablet this time, I'm only used my mouse. I'm happy with the way it came out!! Most of all Bryce is really happy with it and is going to using it for his YouTube account. YAY!!
